The “Vaud Oenotourism” certification recognises professional Vaudois establishments from hotels, restaurants, wine and good taste setups, who attach particular importance in providing a top quality tourism and gourmet experience. Initiated by the Vaud canton, the “Vaud Oenotourism” certification has created a network of places where you can be certain to discover, share and especially taste Vaudois terroir!
The La Côte vineyards are divided between Commugny and Lausanne and take advantage of the protection from the Jura chain of mountains and the regulating thermal effect of Lake Geneva. The wine’s structure varies according to the nature of the soils: gravelly soils deep down near water, produce wines of great delicacy whereas soils which are heavier on the top layers produce more robust wines, distinguished by floral aromas and fruity flavours.
