Only Chasselas and Pinot Noir can be considered as Grand Cru.
The words “Great Growth” in the Vaud canton can only be used for wines having at least 90%
of the grapes harvested from the place of production or the municipality. A maximum of 10% of
grapes can come from another place of production belonging to the same registered
designation of origin (AOC).
Each Great Growth is named after its terroir.
